Re: Blue "X"

That was very funny.

Actually it was me (Bob) posting the whole time.

Re: Blue "X"

Yep... as Becky I can't delete a post unless it's the last post in a thread.

I definitely see a blue x.

Can you tell me of a post where you do not see a blue x?

Bob
Ahhh I see the pattern... you can only delete your last post... and probably only if it's the last post in the thread.

coaming board replacement

We replaced the coaming boards on Cricket a few years ago. We used South Shore Boatworks in Halifax Ma. (781)-293-2293. Bob Fuller is the craftsman and he used to work on Cape Dories. We also designed our name and hailing port on our computer. We brought our printout to a company called FASTSIGNS. They were able to enlarge the image to fit the transom in vinyl letters (based on the dimensions we provided). The only tricky part was trying to center it on the transom. My avatar is ...

head

varnish

I refinished the inside of "Cricket" as a winter project 2 years ago. I applied 3 coats of Epiphanes High Gloss then 3 coats of the rubbed effect varnish and it looks great. I also removed everything I could from the boat so I could work in a warmer environment. Good luck with your project.
