I need a piece of teak to replace the lower part of my rub rail on a CD 27. Measurements are 1" high, 3/4" in depth by 24" in length. Any approximate piece of scrap will do, as long as it is above these dimensions.

Prop is secured on shaft with two nuts 1 1/4" and 1"
Should there be a zinc attached to the two nuts? If not what zincs are recommended and where should they be mounted.
