Yanmar Engine Panel

I purchased a 1978 CD27 this Spring. It has the original one cylinder
(YSB8) diesel engine, which by the way runs well. The engine panel has three basic idiot lights -charging lamp, temperature and low pressure warning. VDO at one time offered a great panel with indicator gauges for PSI, Volts, RPM, temp and breaker indicator. VDO has changed ownership several times and to the best of my knowledge does not offer this all in one panel for marine use.

I would be interested to know your thoughts on the best and least complicated set of engine instruments anyone has used to upgrade or replace.
