Just helped a friend bring his boat (Nonsuch 26, 4'draft 50 'stick) fom Demopolis to Fairhope. Nice 4 day trip (228mi). No problems with depth or bridges, you go through two locks. I owned a 28 for 23 years and routinely sailed against a 27 in races. Heavy air, I'd win, light air he'd win.
