"X" Most Recent Postings
I sure miss it. Is there a way to get the most recent postings and not all the other stuff in the the threads? I have figured out how to limit the length of the list to a day, etc., but maybe my profile needs updating to ??? Did I miss your clear explanation somewhere? If so, tell me, give me a URL,...

Is it a 14?
I have a complete CD/14 from which we can take measurements if they aren't already available under http://www.capedory.org/cdinfo.html or
http://www.capedory.org/specs/CD10_14.pdf
I don't think we have seen anything on the board regarding a 16.

Engine Sump
I think the rationale may be that the engine sump ought to be separate from the bilge so that drips from the engine don't get pumped overboard. One of the advantages of the Robinhood bed is that the oil drips are further separated and don't even mix with the drips from the stuffing box. Keeping a ma...

Ground Plate Location
It wouldn't surprise me if the aluminum tank cover and the fuel fill cap are electrically bonded to the plate so there is no possiblity of a static discharge. Of course with diesel fuel there is much less volatility than with gasoline and, therefore, much less chance of an explosion. If lightning st...

Ground Plate Location
Parfait is hull #84, built in 1983. The plate and wiring certainly appear to be in the original location.

Ground Plate Location
Parfait's grounding plate is on the starboard side of the keel and the bolts penetrate the hull into the bilge just forward of the fuel tank where they are easily reached. If your plate is on the bottom of the keel, it might not be a factory installation and you may just have to dig a bit to find th...

CD/36 Batteries
Parfait has three batteries in the port locker. The starting battery is on a relatively high shelf outboard against the hull and the two house batteries sit on another shelf directly below the hatch. The 375 AH Rolls CH-375 6 volt house batteries are easy to service, but the starting battery require...

CD/36 Panel ??
We pulled the AC and DC panels from Parfait and replaced them with a Blue Sea Systems panel with many more circuits, meters, and new breaker/switches. If you are interested in those panels email me at parfaitNOSPAM@nc.rr.com (remove NOSPAM) and we can discuss condition, price, etc. They look OK to g...

I should have known that, I used to be in Marketing
Walt,
Actually, this time I do agree. I failed to look at the list and see the recent addition to the thread. Is there an option to list postings in reverse chronological order?
Thanks,

Specs? Manual?
Hi,
Perhaps you have some information that needs to be incorporated into the web site. We have almost nothing, so anything you can share will be most welcome.
Cathy will undoubtedly contact you about this. Right, Cathy?

Old Thread Shown amongst Current Threads
I was a bit surprised to see the thread http://www.capedory.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=11311
from 2003 in the list of current threads.
Not really an issue for me, but it is curious and, perhaps, indicative of something that needs to be addressed.
