I have a plethora of leftovers from the solar project at our off grid cabin. I know you're looking for 12 awg, and mine don't say anything about awg. I do know I used them on 10 awg.

In my experience, that answer would be a big fat NO! Once they are loaded, they are very difficult to get un-tied. It can be done, but its tough.I wonder if double is less difficult to untie since more surface area in contact during tension?
