My 1978 Tartan 30 was fitted with 4 CD ports. I'm down to 2 screens. Does anyone know where I can find some replacement screens and/or will "Spartan" port screens fit the original CD Bomar bronze ports?

Re: Cape Dory Opening Ports
We have ordered the screens from Spartan a couple of times over the years and they fit fine. A bit pricey, and somewhat fragile. We seem to damage them clambering about on the deck. The plastic frames are just too fragile. But then, what choice do we have?Rick Pawelka wrote: My 1978 Tartan 30 was fitted with 4 CD ports. I'm down to 2 screens. I've made my own screens for my boat. I bought a sheet of plastic for a local supplier and used a router to cut it into the shape of the window then just glued two together with fiberglass window screen in between. If you want a more detailed explanation just e-mail me at camroll@together.netJackie Upton wrote:We have ordered the screens from Spartan a couple of times over the years and they fit fine.
