New (or used) dodger

I am looking at a CD 27', but it has no dodger (which is somethin I definitely wan't). Can anyone advise me where to find a new and/or used dodger???

This answer depends on where you live. Ask other sailors in your area where they had there dodger made. I think dodgers are usually ordered and made locally at a marine canvas or sailmaking business. I had mine made at Thurston Canvas (Bristol, RI). I'm very happy with it! I believe they already had the pattern for the CD27. They also installed it on my boat. I ordered it in the fall, so that it would be ready for the spring. Being in New England, I've learned that it is best to get some boat work accomplished during the winter, because the marine businesses tend to get bombed with work in the spring. With such a short season, I don't like delaying my launch.
