here is my general plan for getting to the upper bay for the rendezvous. i am forced into a rather peculiar schedule by job obligations as well as the timing of the tides. i understand that it may not suit everyone, or even a few, but i would welcome anyone who wishes to join me even for part of a leg. my estimated speed (optimistically) is 5 knots with the current and 4 knots against. i may do a fair amount of motoring to maintain my speed.
thurs 5/28 leave norfolk at 10 pm, sail thru night
fri 5/30 arrive/ anchor great wicomico river mid morning, rest
for several hours.
leave in mid afternoon, arrive solomons, md in late
evening, anchor overnight.
sat 5/31 leave solomons early morning, arrive rhode river mid afternoon.
