I want to replace the two tank fuel lines and don't see a way to get at them. The teak box in the starboard locker looks like it may cover the top of the tank. It would probably give me access to the fuel gage which also needs replaced and the Whale pump that needs to be rebuilt.
Fortunatly I don't have fuel problems. I just need to replace the lines before they become problems.
Thanks.

Re: CD 33 sailboat fuel tank access
Jim,
Have you tried crawling in under the cockpit floor by way of the opening in the port locker? The tank does sit below the shelf where the filler cap is. You can see the fuel tank once in there, just not sure how easy the hoses are to access for replacement.

Re: CD 33 sailboat fuel tank access
What year CD33 do you have?
On our boat, a 1984 CD33 #117, the tank is reasonably accessible from the engine compartment. You just have to lean in on top of the engine. The tank is farther back, on the starboard side of the boat. The hoses and guage are up on top, a little hard to reach.
