Can someone please tell me what the the precise diameter of the hose used to connect the cockpit scupper drain to the seacock is on a CD36. Looks like 1 5/8's, but I want to be sure.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Hose Dimension
brett.. when i replaced hoses on my 33.. i found that 1 and five eighths was too big... one and a half was the size to use but had to soak ends in hot water and slightly expand first wit a wooden plug.. it was easier to slide over the seacock than the cockpit drain
.. i cut the hose a little on the long side so there was pressure to help move the hoses on i soaped them that helped too... one of my drains is fairly straight run so was able to use the very best toughest hose... the other drain involves a bit of a curve in the hose so i had to go to a slightly lighter more flexible type... my old drain hoses by the way although they looked ok had perished on the inside considerably and the steel reinforcement had rusted away completely around the seacock... john .. serenus no6
