I'd like to take a quick poll of '30 owners re autopilots; I'm about to put one in before launch, and I'm not sure how to spend these large dollars; I have a favorable impression of Autohelm in every catagory but customer-service (heard they're a real bear over warranty situations); Does anybody have a ST3000 or ST4000 attatched to their wooden wheel and worm gear? If so, did you find a way to make the plastic drive gear attatch to and look ok with the teak? Has anybody successfully put in the Sportpilot (meant for powerboats)? I'm open to any suggestions re other brands as well.
