Small black Disk

Hello to all. It's great to be a CD Sailor!!!!!

I have a a question. On my 25D the bi-fold door to the head has a small black "velcro" type disk (size of a Quarter) that is plastic and works exceptionally well at keeping the door closed. You have to almost pry the thing open. The problem is I (or previous owner) have lost one half of the disk and now it dont work.

Does anyone else have these "velcro" type fastners? I sure would like to find them they really work GREAT.

I have seen the same "velcro" type fasteners at West Marine, although in a different color (blue). You should be able to order over the internet if you don't have a store near you.

THAT IS AN INDUSTRIAL GRADE OF VELCRO BUT YOU CAN PURCHASE IT AT YOUR LOCAL RADIO SHACK OF ALL PLACES. THEY CALL IT "SUPERLOCK" STRIPS. IT MEASURES 1" X 3" , 2 OR 3 STRIPS IN A PACKAGE, AVAILABLE IN BLACK AND CLEAR. I BELIEVE W.W. GRAINGER SELLS IT IN LARGER SIZES IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY. IT IS QUITE COMMON AT OTHER ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC PARTS SUPPLIERS ALSO.
