I need to haul my CD25 from Ft. Lauderdale to Coastal NC during the week of 3/1. I'm hoping to find someone with a trailer for rent rather than having it hauled. Anyone in the southeast willing to rent theirs please!!!! thanks

Anyone have a trailer to rent?

Re: Anyone have a trailer to rent?
I believe I have seen some posts on here before from you before and unfortunataly most of the trailers I assume will be occupied with their own boats just because of the season. I'm not sure what the nautical milage is from starting point to where you need to go or if the boat is on the hard now and not ready to sail that far. I know that there are many people on the board that are iching to get out on the water. Maybe you could get a small two or three person crew together and make the sail. Over all, I would think that would be the cheeper way out and safer for the boat too. Only other problem that I know from my own 25 is that on a long cruse you have to make you boat a floating gas tank. I like to be able to cruse for at least twelve hours if I need to.
Well, I know this wasn't the massage that you were looking for, but I believe this might be a good option for you. I would love to go sailing right now just about anyplace, but thanks to having to make a living that option is unavailable. I hope you find a trailer or a way of getting her home. You could also buy one outright. It would save you the hall out fees each year and over the long run save you alot of money.

Re: Anyone have a trailer to rent?
Just want to thank everyone that replied here and via email. I had many good offers--one even offered to let me use her trailer for no charge! 1600 miles round trip! Anyway, looks like I'm buying a used one and just wanted to thank you all and close the thread.
