Bill there is a drain nut on the lower right front side of the oil pan. I believe that it takes a 19mm socket. Do not confuse it with the nut that attaches a banjo fitting on an oil line to the engine.Bill wrote: Where does one drain the oil on a 1GM (25D)?

Bill, I've been told by others that is it impossible to drain the oil from this plug. Last year, I pumped the oil out through the dipstick hole. Does anyone else have any experince using the drain plug referred to above?
