Are there any Typhoon captains out there who have made modifications to the accomodations of their boats. I am interested in providing space for light cooking, personal basin, fresh water, and plenty of storage so as to have a "mini-cruiser".
Any ideas to help me on my way to following in the footsteps of Joshua!?
Thanks,

Re: Typhoon Accomodations
Bob,
You might take a look at the galley arrangement of the Catalina 22. On the older boats at least, mine was a '74 model, there was a unit with a sink and pump, an alcohol stove, water storage, and a drawer that, when not in use, slid into the space where there otherwise would have been a quarter berth. We also added cleats to support plywood above the footwell so that we had a queen sized berth for sleeping in quiet anchorages. This left the porta-potty accessible in the middle of the night too!
Keep on sailing,
Ken

Here are some ideas to consider...
http://www.msog.org/ Click on "How To & Specs" and then "Ideas" and then "Portable Galley" and "Extras".
