You can talk directly to the technical folks at Profurl. The fellow that I spoke with owns an Alberg 30 so he is familiar with CD's. I have a CD27 and purchased the R 25 furler. I am quite happy with it.

I have used these folks many times on a number of boats with great success. They do not sell the furler that you are looking at but CDI and Harken (which I highly recommend!) with discounts on sails that will knock your socks off!

I got both from Schurr Sails in Pensacola; try Schurrsails.com. Used C32 Profurl with 155% genoa on a CD 28(including cover and luff pad). Worked great, and will use Profurl again when we're ready to convert our current boat to roller furling. Haven't decided sail size yet.
