B&G Sensors

Post by Ken Coit »

Does anyone have a favorite source for B&G parts other than the
"official" parts people in FL? I have no problem with them, I'm just hoping to get what I want at a bargain. I need a new speed /temp transducer for my Network Quad display. Seems as if someone put a pair of pliers to it and it cracked. It must have accumulated some barnacles or something and they needed the leverage of Vise Grips or Channel Locks. I have some unkind words for them in any case.

Of course it now leaks enough to keep one from leaving the boat with it in place, so we continue to be without speed through the water clues.

Answering My Own Question???

Post by Ken Coit »

B&G Service Department in FL sells parts, the Sales Department does not. Acutally, I think they are different companies, but they use the same web site to confuse us.

If you need a B&G part, use the following:

Email: service@bandg-service.com
Telephone: 954-229-0208
Fax: 954-229-2461

I'll not mention the name of the dealer who failed to respond to muy inquiry after the sales dept. recommended them, but I doubt I'll be buying my SSB from them.

Keep on sailing!
