I was wondering what year Cape Dory stopped building the Typhoon? My boat is hull number 1958 and was built in 1984.

The Incomparable Catherine is way ahead of you
Typhoon were built from 1969 until 1986 and there were 2200 of them made. How do I know this? Simple, Just go the the banner at the top of this wonderful bulletin board and you will see that the incomparable Catherine has provided all this information and much more about not only the typhoons, but all the Cape Dorys. Click on "About Cape Dorys" then click on "History". The Typhoon is the first boat listed. BTW the Typhoon Senior was built until 1987 and there were 57 of them made.
While you're there check out the quartermaster's icon and see if there isn't something you can buy someone for Christmas there and help finance this bulletin board. Sorry to pick on you for a commercial opportunity, but Walt and Catherine are too polite to hustle product on the BB, but people never accuse me of being too genteel.
