I hope someone has the answers to two questions about my cd27
I have had her for about a yr and motored about 50 hrs never ever ever seen one drop from the packing area by the shaft .it is never warm but still never drips is this ok?
I used my working jib for the first time 90% ? and let the sheets thru a small track on the deck..the jib sheet rubs on the deck as it goes aft is this normal? are there other setups where this can be avoided?

Re: dripping and working jib
ref the stuffing box: Maybe your stuffing box is packed with a a drip-free packing, in which case, it's not supposed to drip. On the other hand, even regular packing only drips when the shaft is turning; is this the case when you are checking it? Also, unless you are using a good light and looking somewhat from the side, it may be dripping (from the bottom) where you can't see it.
ref the jib: I lead my jib sheet also through the genoa blocks (after the blocks you described) and then to the winch. As I recall, pretty much keeps the sheet from rubbing against the dog house.

I do not see any driping at all and nver did
Guess leave it alone
I feed my sheets thru the small sheave on the cabin are others doing that? it seems to be the best way to get the jib all the way in ..
