I recently purchased a Cape Dory 10 sailing dingy, however the centerboard was missing. I need a diagram and measurements to fashion a replacement. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Re: cape dory 10 centerboard
Phil,
I have such a centerboard. It's a somewhat complex affair with a handle at the top, two protrusions that look like "ankle bones" that allow it to swing in the trunk, a cord to control the swing depth and finally there is weight embedded in the forward lower portion. All this to say you'll probably need to fabricate a duplicate out of wood/fiberglass/resin/epoxy, etc. rather than a simple wooden one. E-mail me and we can figure out if we live close enough to lend you mine during the off-season.
