Trailer for a Ty

Post by Woody »

My cousin and I purchased a 1974 Ty weekender recently. We are searching for a trailer capable of making a journey of 350 miles.
In the alternative, does anyone have any photos of their Ty on a trailer or drawings of a Ty trailer to enable us to modify a trailer.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Woody

The first two photos in the photo album at the following site shoe Pokey II on a powerboat trailer that I modified.

The board supporting the keel is a 2x6 covered with indoor/outdoor carpet that rests on two cross members. The rollers came with the trailer and are only used to hold her upright, not for support. I've only ever had her lifted on, never floated on, so the lack of keel guides does not indicate that they're not needed.
