I am looking at installing a holding tank on our CD28 hull #129 a 1977 version. I did have a soft tank in the step section of the v berth but a soft tank does not really impress me. The water tank is also in the v berth and I have thought of using this space and relocating the water tank to the settees. Just wanted some thoughts as to what others have done and or what they feel might be best.
Thanks

Re: Location of holding tank
We have hull #153 also a 1977 CD28 and the holding tank is under the port settee, with the fresh water tank being under the v-berth.Mel Vincent wrote: I am looking at installing a holding tank on our CD28 hull #129 a 1977 version. Re: Location of holding tank
I would be inclined to install the holding tank forward with the water tank under the settee. This allows for a shorter vent line to the bow.
