My spreaders measured 26.1/2" tip to tip with an O.D. of about 3/4". The aluminum sides are roughly 1/16", but I just eye balled it with a tape and didn't mic it.
I've only had the boat for a year, so I don't know how original the spreaders are. Hope this helps.
Good Luck,
Robert

I'm holding an original spreader in my hand from my '73 Typhoon (#542). It is indeed 26.5", but that includes the fitting at the end which receives the shroud; thus the tube itself measures 25.5". I obtained my new spreaders and shroud fittings from Rig-Rite; they seem to work fine.Robert wrote:don wrote: I just purchased a 1973 typhoon but the spreaders are missing!!!!!
