Does anyone know where I can get a trailer for my Cape Dory 28?
New or used. I am located in Florida, but will travel to get good trailer.

Contact your trailer dealer (Easyloader, as an example). Give them the figures on your boat, and they can make up one in no time. I did this for a smaller boat and it worked great! Be sure to get a three axle trailer-the two axle will just not make it.
The CD 28 does travel on a trailer-in fact, a gentleman in his 70s just launched his CD 28 at Anacortes WA after travelling from Colorado Springs CO.
Now the fun part!! What type of vehicle do you plan to tow it with!!??!! What kind of brakes do you need? How many states do you plan to go through that require signs for the extra width. How are your nerves when travelling down hill with at least 10,000 pounds behind you!!
The gentleman mentioned above actually has a two axle trailer (and he knows it is too light!)-and lost a wheel on a mountain downhill. Took him three days to get it repaired once he was able to stop and retrieve it!

Triad Trailers, whose address and phone number are on this website under "Where to Look" at the top of the homepage, makes custom trailers for Cape Dorys up to 30'. I'd definitely give them a try.
