The CDSOA Chesapeake Fleet 2001 Labor Day Rendezvous will take place September 1-4 on Mobjack Bay.
The core destinations are:
Saturday, September 1 - Severn River, Southwest Branch
Sunday, September 2 - North River, Blackwater Creek
Monday, September 3 - East River, Put In Creek
Tuesday, September 4 -- Fishing Bay (End-Of-Rendezvous Dinner at Taylor's Restaurant in Deltaville on Tuesday night for the grand blow-out, eat-out evening. Taylor's will provide a van shuttle to the restaurant.)
Mobjack Bay offers beautiful cruising grounds. The distances are short enough that we can probably explore up the fourth tributary, the Ware River, if we want to during one of the days. Paul Clancy has a nice article about the Severn River in the August issue of Chesapeake Bay Magazine.
