Considering the 25, 25d, 26, and 27 which boat has the smallest cockpit legroom and area for seating of four adults. Seems to me the 26 looks small in the pictures. thanks. and which one the biggest?

My vote for smallest would be the 26. If I have more than two adults on board, someone is always in the way of the tiller . On the plus side, there's a nice platform aft when the engine hatch is closed.

The 25D's is slightly larger than the 26's but still not enough room to sail with four. My wife sits in the companionway (so she can pass the beer) the guests sit up against the cabin. I sit as far forward as possible to minimize stern-squat and to access the winches. Using a hiking stick helps some with the tight cockpit but it's very crowded with three adults.

Craig: the regular CD-25 and the CD-27 have the bigger cockpits than the other two. The 25 can sit 4 normal bodies comfortably.

There is a goodly amount of cockpit seating in the 27, but as Rich said, the tiller does want a lot of it. This is more of a problem w/ kids that are in their own world when you want to swing the tiller. There is also room on the sitting on teh aft hatch (if not moving the traveller too much). Is this space needed while moving or not and how much moving about will there be??? The width of the cockpits is narrow and can easily step on toes, if not careful.
