Having just recently sold my 25D, I have been looking at CD30's in the Northeast. It appears that I was very lucky in that my 25D had virtually no deck cracks. Now that I have seen 4 CD30's I am amazed at the amount of deck cracks on these boats. Reading past messages about the cracks lead me to believe that they are mostly cosmetic - the problem is 2 out of the 4 boats with deck cracks were clearly soft and weak in those areas. Obviously water has entered and is rotting the core. ...So.. Fill those cracks!

Re: Watch those deck cracks!
Anyone have any suggestions for filling deck cracks?
I have one or two minor ones that probably need to be cared for.
Thanks

Use the "Search" feature at the top of the message board page. Dana Arenius posted a long series of instructions on how he repaired his deck cracks. I believe there have been other discussions on the subject.Douglas McMullin wrote: Anyone have any suggestions for filling deck cracks?
