hey guys,

anyone have anysuggestions for keeping the inside of my cd25 less damp? ive been sleeping inside and when i wake up all the bedding feels really damp....i tried one of those small bucket type thing with the grains of white stuff but its not doing much.....

Dan...if you have access to 110 outlet, run an extension cord inside, get a standard fused 4 outlet strip, buy a small heater/fan from lowes for $19 and run that. Also, you can get one of those spring clamp lamps with the silver bonnet for next to nothing and use a 40w bulb. This dose 2 things....it puts some heat into the cabin that is circulated by the fan but it also tells you your shore power is working w/o having to get on board (we call it a drive-by check so in a rain storm you don't have to get out). That's what I did in my 25 and it worked great....I even do it in my CD30 now, but I have installed shore power outlets so it's easier. Good Luck!

thanks chris, but i forgot to mention that unfortunatly i dont have shore power, the boat is moored. anywone heard of a batter powered dehumidifier?

There are solar powered fans. Check the West Marine catalog.

It's hard to keep the humidity down inside the boat. Take every opportunity to keep air flowing, particularly on dry, breezy days.
