Does anyone make new Typhoons?

I have a friend looking for a Typhoon and he is wondering if anyone is making new Typhoons or Typhoon copies, possibly using the old molds.

Compass Classic Yachts on Cape Cod has the molds and is making what they call the Hurricane, which seems to be a centerboard daysailor version of the Typhoon. They still have the original Typhoon molds (I tried to get them this spring) but don't seem to be in production on the Hurricane at this time. My guess is that they would make a "real" Typhoon if someone wanted one.

I think it would be interesting to see how they would finish a "new" Typhoon (i.e., would they build the boat as nice as Cape Dory did).
