Since there are several of us sailing from the western end of Long Island Sound to the Rendezvous, we're in the process of forming a flotilla.
Realization will be leaving Morgan, NJ on Friday, 7/13 (yeah, I know, it's Friday the 13th) for City Island, NY. Saturday morning, the 14th, we're leaving City Island and heading to East Norwalk, CT where we'll meet up with the Machts Nichts crew. Right now the itinerary from Norwalk looks like this:
Sunday, 7/15 -- East Norwalk to Milford or The Thimble Islands (not yet decided)
Monday, 7/16 -- Milford or Thimbles to Westbrook/Duck Island Roads
Tuesday, 7/17 -- Westbrook/Duck Island Roads to Shelter Island
If you are planning on attending the Rendezvous and would like to sail with the flotilla, please let me know.
By the way, time is running out, please register soon to avoid having to pay any late fees. Please keep in mind that the "Entry Fee" is <b>per boat</b> not per person and includes the price of one T-shirt. Please visit the CDSOA's website for more info regarding the rendezvous.

should you fine sailors stray to my path...please try contact compinche i will monitor chnl68...my old standard 25 not capable chnl72....anybody elses planning to sail the north shore of long island may want to truck along with us ...... looking forwards to this event...
