In Search of other CD25D's!

Post by Bob Ohler »

It seems like with the Winter weather getting a little nastier, I'm seeing more people putting up postings here, as we all wait for Spring! It's been a while since I put up this request, so I thought it might be a good time to seek out any other 25D owners. To date I have "located" about 20 of the 180 or so that were built. Some of the owners, I have been lucky enough to talk to over the phone or correspond via e-mail here. I thought it would be a neat idea to see just how many of the 25D's I could locate, and set-up a little "question and answer" group for owners of the 25D's. I was lucky enough to purchase CD25D hull #2 from the original owner last June. We sailed her quite a bit out of Herrington Harbor last year, in the middle Chesapeake Bay. So, if there are any 25D owners out there reading this, drop me line. Please include your hull number and where you keep your boat. I hope to get the information typed and listed by hull number, and when I do, I'll be happy to e-mail you a copy, if you would to receive a it.
Smooth Sailing! .... and come on Spring Time!

Bob,

I am the proud owner of CD25D Hull #166. The boat is kept on Great Bay in Durham, NH. She is in excellent condition and the perfect boat for Carol and I. The sun is shining, the temperature is going to be 40+, and I'm headed to the boat shed right now.
