I'm considering installing refrigeration on my boat. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good book on this subject? I would like something that provides selection and installation information on engine driven compressors and holding plates.
Thanks

Re: Looking for a good book on marine refrigeration
Nobody seems to be jumping in here so let me give you the one most people seem to use. It's called "Refrigeration for Pleasure Boats" by Nigel Calder. A quick look through the West catalog didn't turn it up, but there is a used one listed on Bibliofind.com. I installed a home built one in my CD31 so if you have questions I can help you with I'd be glad to explain what I did. I can't help you with selection because I hired an expert to design and build mine. I can tell you how he did it and what the installation is like, but as to why he choose this design rather than another I couldn't say. I can give you some idea of what you want in a design and what to avoid etc. Write me directly if you're interested. The above book is a good starting place.
