I am thinking about recovering the interior cushions and need some thoughts on the preferred material....OR, if anyone knows about where to purchase new, let me know...I sail ALEGRIA out of Oyster Bay, Long Island....

We made covers for now but next winter we are going to make some new ones . We are going to add an extra inch of foam for comfort . There are several good books out there on doing your own sewing sail stuff and I've found out that its not too hard . What materal you use is another matter though . We are thinking of using sunbrella type . Good luck , and have fun with it . I'm not too fond of the standard of the plaid stuff they came with . We also have a furnature refinsher friend of ours who will do the settees for about $120 ea but the choise of materal is limited . I think you could find a person to do it for less if you look around .Rita wrote:
