I have just purchased a 1984 CD31 and I would really like to find any others who are sailing CD31's in my area to chat, exchange info, and most important - to be able to see another similar boat. I live in Northern New Jersey opposite Manhattan on the Hudson River. Anyone else out here?

My wife Kerry and I sail "Nomad", CD 31 #8, out of Old Lyme Marina, 4 miles from the mouth of the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound.
We've sailed the 31 for 4 years; had a CD 27 for 5 prior to that. I think the 31 is the only boat we'll need! Great for 2 people and occasional visitors. I've been doing varnish and refinishing in general in Vberth this Spring.
Where did you get your boat? What convinced you to look at CDs? What is it like to sail in NY Harbor? Keep in touch; the 31 is one GREAT boat!!
