This bulletin board, hosted by the CDSOA, Inc., is the on-line meeting place for all Cape Dory owners and groups. We welcome everyone's questions, answers and comments about Cape Dory sailboat
Launched yesterday, planks all swelled up pretty quick (only kidding) seacocks all fine, teak stripped, outfitting under way....Boy does it feel good to feel the deck move underfoot!
We did bottom paint up over the old boottop, and made a new boottop stripe higher up. Will prevent actual waterline fouling and it definitely gives us appearance of lower freeboard and prettier sheer! Interesting. Photo is our new 3blade wheel & PSS shaft seal.
Happy Sailing!

Yves,
Feels great doesn't it! I went (back) in 2 weeks ago and am outfitting also. Rain today. Mother's day tomorrow and the kids are out so no sailing tomorrow. Phooey! Tell me about the PSS as I am considering it. How hard was it to do..or for the yard to do?
