Could anyone enlighten me on the differences between the CD25 and the CD25D? I think the only main difference is that the CD25D is "beamier", but I don't know!

Recommend you read the Practical Sailor writeup in Practical Boat buying. It's about a seven page description and comparison of the two designs. I din't have a FAX machine handy, but maybe another reader does. In short, they are different boats: the 25 is outboard powered and displaces 4000 lbs, the 25D is a diesel inboard displacing 5120 lbs with about 9 inches more beam.
