Length of Reefing Lines for Hood Mainsail

Hi Everyone:

I'm hoping to purchase replacement Reefing Lines prior to the arrival of "Sirius", CD33 #84, from its current location at Puerto Del Rey Marina, PR, to Maryland.

The CD33 manual lists just 2 reefing lines - 1st and 2nd Clew Reefs (26' and 35' long respectively). However, Sirius has 3 reefing lines on her Hood mainsail!

Does anyone know how long are those three lines? The manual also lists 3/8" Dacron Braid. Is this recommendation still current or is there a more suited line out there?

I await the collectivce wisdom of the "Board".
