Does anyone have any experiance using the 2 part Awlgripe on exterior teak? I did my compaion way boards last year with 4 coats and it looks as good as the day I did it. I don't think this would be a good test since the boat has a dodger and is covered all winter. I just scrubbed the teak in the cocpit for the first time. Boy was it dirty! Boy does it look great! Even though it's bare. Any advise would help.
Thanks!

I've never used it first hand but I've been around it a few times and it sure looks absolutely beautiful. One thing I do know is that when it does start to fail god help you getting it stripped off. Most people I've known in need of removing it let nature take its course to save on the grief of removing it. It will check, then lift and peel in sheets.Dennis Truett wrote: Does anyone have any experiance using the 2 part Awlgripe on exterior teak? You might want to consider Bristol Finish which looks just as great and is easy to work with and would be especially easier to remove. It is a two part acrylic urethane rather than a two part linear urethane.
