Nice electrical connectors

Although some may be already aware of this product, anyone considering a tinker with the electrical system might want to have a look at these to see if they might suit your needs. Go to andersonpower.com. (SB, SBE connectors particularly) I have installed the SB connectors on short pigtail leads coming off both batteries and the corresponding connector on the input side of the electrical system. Battery removal is now a half second blitz, as opposed to a back straining, wing-nut dropping, vise-gripping fiasco. Also, there are no loose wires left dangling to possibly short together. The uses of the these connectors are limitless, and are available in many sizes and amperage ratings. APP quick disconnects can also be mounted to any surface easily, allowing them to be installed in an outlet-like manner very cleanly for a miriad of uses. The quality of these connectors cannot be overstated- or appreciated until they are in your hand.

have used these on jumper cables to plug into truck mounted generator for starting construction equipment. also good quick connectors for any hookup to a power source such as battery bank or generators. a little grease on the contacts prevents corrosion of the contacts as long as dust and dirt is not a problem.
