Opening ports

We recently purchased a l976 CD25. Reading the message board with people talking about bronze opening ports, I was wondering if any CD25s were made with fixed ports like ours, or were ours at one time replaced?

Bob, the CD25 was one of CD's earliest models, and was built before any CD had bronze opening ports. The ports came on later CD 25 models.
