Re: Typhoon Daysailer Model
I don't know where you are located, but there was (last November -- I bet it's still there) a Typhoon daysailer for sale at the Cortlandt Yacht club on the Hudson river at Verplanck, New York. If that's near enough, get back to me and I'll give you directions.Mark Ide wrote: Would still like to buy a daysailer model, any condition.

Re: Typhoon Daysailer Model
I have a 1981 Typhoon Daysailer for sale. Fair condition, nice 4HP Evinrude, 6 sails, fairly new paint and teak. No trailer, but can possible deliver if you are a reasonable distance (5 or 600 miles) from western South Carolina. Asking price is $3500. I do have a Custom Triad trailer for the Typhoon (I have two Typhoons) that I would consider selling with this Typhoon. The price for the boat, motor and trailer would be $5200.

Re: Typhoon Daysailer Model
This might be taboo, but if your having trouble finding the daysailer model, an Ensign (another Alberg boat) might be a good substitute. They have a pretty good following up here on Lake Erie.

Mark:
I've not owned a daysailer Ty, but have owned the weekender and an Ensign. Both were fun boats, but I must tell you the Ensign was special. Great sailng boat. I wouldn't try to talk you out of a Ty, but I second Marino's observation that an Ensign might be worth a look, especially if you think you might like to race.
