Does anyone have insight into installing a compression post for the mast in a Typhoon weekender? I was thinking 1 1/2" aluminum glued top and bottom? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Erik - I just posted a note about the mast support for my Ty too. Have you any replies? I thought a nice piece of squared teakwood would be cool to work with as an support/compression post.
