Bronze Hull Plaque

Post by zeida »

I thought ALL the CD plaques were the same design, just with the hull number and the length number different. I remember the plastic plaque on my old CD-25 looked exactly as the one on My CD-33. If this is the case, Bristol Bronze can just change the numbers on each new plaque ordered, or am I missing something? Last night I went to their website, clicked on their order form and ordered one for my CD-33, hull #73, via MasterCard. I have not heard back from them yet, so am assuming there's no problem. I may be wrong. If anyone knows more about this subject, please advise. Looking forward to receiving my bronze plaque. THANK YOU CATHERINE!

I contacted Roger at Bristol Bronze because the plate on my 1975 CD25 has a different logo than that posted by Catherine. Rather than the half-hull, mine has an oar running horizontally with Cape Dory Yachts superimposed. Also, mine says West Bridgewater, Mass. rather than East Taunton, Mass.
