Any ideas about how to discourage theft of Typhoon motor/mount?

1-U-bolt around the mount and through the deck-accessible via the aft inspection port.
2-Nosy dock neighbors.

vinyl-coated 3/16 aircraft cable passed through the motor clamps or some other point on the motor and then around the backstay. with eyes at both ends of the cable attach a case-hardened brass key lock.
make the motor cover look twenty-five years old!!!

I Like "nosey neighbors," but I've found the best insurance has been to get to know my dock mates and tell them I'll watch theirs if they'll watch mine. I also place a lock on the tang of the cabin boards, but I don't lock it. If somebody wishes to enter at best they won't mess-up the finish. At worst it seems one of my harbor mates wishes to borrow a life vest.
