Bow Pulpit on CD25

Post by Mike Davis »

The bow pulpit on my CD 25 is bent out of shape. I need to replace it. Does anyone know where it can be repaced or fabricated in the New York City area. Thanks Mike Davis

We also need to replace our CD26 bow pulpit and plan to use Ocean Engineering. They have all the specs for it already. We found Rig Rite useless, no calls back, needed very detailed info etc.

For our 26, same one you need for the 25 if I remember right Ocean Engineering quoted $375 this summer, if you have it shipped , another $100.

They are Ocean Engineering
242 Branford Rd.
N. Branford, CT
06471
203-482-2608

If you want other choices, look at the WHERE TO LOOK option in this website. We just found them the most responsive so far.Hope this helps.

Ocean Engineering did the original stainless fabrication for Cape Dory. They are good folks I replaced a stantion through them. They have all the original machining blueprints for stantions, pulpits and pushpits.

Fair winds.

Yes, I called mid summer - it's a 203 number, look at the WHERE TO LOOK section on this board, under parts and supplies and it gives the address and phone # (cut and paste didn't seem to work, sorry)
