Folks,
I am looking at a 1978 CD 28 sloop that has been in storage for at least 15 years. Hardly any hours on it. Can anyone help me with what I should look at for items that may have "worn" while sitting? Also how can I determine a realistic price?

Re: Value of a CD 28
Tony,
Earlier this spring I bought a 1978 Cape Dory 28 for $16,000 U.S. It had been for sale for a little over a year. It also had very little equipment on it, but the survey went o.k.
I'm going to be spending at least $8,000 U.S. on it for equipment and upgrades before heading to the Bahamas and Caribbean next Aug. 2001
I keep it in Ohio while I'm working on it as I'm from Canada.
Good luck
