Several years ago I purchased a CD Typhoon Day Sailer which is in excellent overall condition. In doing some recent work I noticed the serial number on the hull plate is #30. Anyone have an idea when this boat might have been manufactured? I assume that it was in the first or second year of production, say 1969 or 1970?

My Typhoon Daysailer is hull # 47 and is a 1976 last digits of vin # is 76 and is stamped 10-10-75. I just corresponded with another daysailer owner who said his was a 1975 and is hull #22. Suggests your boat is a 1975.
