Chip,
When living in Florida and now living in North Carolina I have found natural gas companies that fill them. Normally $10 - $15. Sure better than the $40 exchange rates when shipping hazardous material two ways drives the price way up.

Call natural gas company and ask.

Bert Jabin's Boat Yard's Ships Store in Annapolis (Eastport, actually) Maryland. A few years ago at the Annapolis Boat Show one of the CNG stove vendors distributed a list of resupply points. Try contacting your stove company. You never know.

I have a list on board Parfait. I will make an attempt to come up with some names for you.

Chip - How far south is "south". Brewers in Mamaroneck NY offers exchanges. Most of the gas companies in our area only offer LPG and not CNG so Brewers is the only supplier I have found on LI Sound.

Good Luck,

Chip,

The marina where I keep my boat, Lockwood Boat Works, Inc., in Morgan, NJ exchanges CNG tanks. Of course NJ is probably a lot farther south than you're will to go.

Chip,

You can also try Martha's Vineyard Shipyard in Vinyard Haven.
