We recently purchased a 1985 CD26. Beautiful boat but it has been stored for 3 years and needs some attention to bring it back. Will be beautiful when we are done!! I was curious what the best way is to clean the lexan (I assume) on the BOMAR forward hatches. If I remember correctly it's a light grayish color. I don't want to use anything too harsh and damage it but since it's been stored it will probably need more than water to clean up. Any suggestions?

I hear that Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish works wonders. I just bought some but have not had the chance to use it. Others on this board have used it successfuly.

Mild soap will clean the hatches. Wax will shine them nicely and take out the little surface scratches that makes for all the fog.

Used Maguires cleaner and polish this past weekend on our CD30MKII - almost performed like magic! Read about it earlier this year on the message board.
